The Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM VII) Regional Office in Central Visayas continues to provide services with Work-at-Home mode beginning March 23, 2020 from Monday to Friday with skeletal staff assigned each day to hold office on rotation basis.  All employees are required to plot daily deliverables to ensure accomplishments. This is in compliance with the enhanced memorandum from the central office to abide by the government’s current policy in view of COVID 19- pandemic and in support of the Department of Health’s (DOH) aim “to flatten the curve” to avoid additional cases of persons afflicted by the said virus and persons underinvestigation (PUIs.)  The regional office located in Banilad, Cebu City continues to be open from 7:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening as personnel are assigned to specific day schedules for ten (10) hours in compliance with POPCOM Memorandum No. 2020-192 dated March 13, 2020 and the guidelines from the Civil Service Commission (CSC).  Visitors however, are discouraged in view of social distancing and stay-at-home strategy.
